Faith Guitars are delighted to partner with JUST ONE Tree, pledging to plant trees every time a new Faith guitar is sold, anywhere around the world.
JUST ONE Tree is a not-for-profit organisation based in the UK who plant trees in areas severely affected by deforestation to maximise the effect on reducing global warming. In the process they help to provide agricultural education and sustainable incomes to local communities.
Exclusively available from Play Music Today (PMT), this guitar features a solid all-Mango body with a Honey Stain top. Mango makes for an incredibly attractive choice of guitar wood, displaying a wonderful array of flamed grains that is accentuated beautifully with a light brown Honey Stain to enhance the natural pale orange and yellow colours of this stunning exotic tonewood.
Mango sits somewhere between a hardwood and a softwood, not dissimilar to Mahogany, Koa or in fact Trembesi (as used on our second FKVTHS PMT Exclusive Venus Honey Stain model). Each log can of course vary in its particular hardness, but we select the stiffest boards we can to ensure the best tone.
If you long for a crisply articulate and unmistakably warm tone, then Mango may just be what you’ve been looking for. Tonally it’s most comfortable in the upper-bass frequencies, holding through the mid-range, and dropping off at the top. So, with measured playing you’ll find a rewarding sound that successfully combines warmth with remarkable depth.
The Venus is the now iconic shape that brought Faith Guitars to the consciousness of so many players over the years. The combination of a 15" lower bout and a slimmer depth of body looks to classic OM or Auditorium body-shapes for inspiration, and makes the Venus the perfect compromise. In fact, the Naked Venus was voted 'The UK's Best Acoustic Guitar' at the MIA Music Awards in 2013.
The Naked Venus is equipped with a Fishman Presys1 preamp and sonicore undersaddle pickup. The preamp features a contour EQ, Volume control, Phase button and integrated tuner.
All Naked guitars are now supplied with a padded Faith Gigbag.
