Model Overview

Engelmann Spruce / London Plane Tree
(45mm Nut, 14 Fret Join)

Plane trees can be seen lining the wide avenues of many towns and cities around the world. The particular sets of tonewood used on these Signature models originated in the streets of London, so literally contain a part of the nation’s capital.

Plane tree wood is hard, with a close grain and is light brown in colour, and when carefully stained takes on a rich hue of whisky. When matched to high grade Engelmann Spruce, the resulting tone is clear, yet warm and expressive.

As with all solid-wood instruments, we would strongly recommend the continual use of a humidity control system when your guitar is not in use.

"I am still getting to know this guitar. Being a Londoner, who no longer lives there, I wanted a guitar that had London woods in it. I think we are going to get along well."

"Another amazing instrument. As always the build is stunning and the detail awesome. The wood colouring is very different but very pleasing. The tone is wonderful. Warm with a good response across the strings. Very pleased with this guitar."

"Fantastic! Such sustain - perfect for self accompaniment. Sits well alongside my much more expensive Lowden O35 and Martin D28. Very happy with both my Faith guitars."

"This is my forth Faith guitar. Workmanship is excellent, and so is the sound. Only complaint is that there is no strap button on the heal of the neck like my other Faiths. Went looking for a Martin or a Taylor, and tried lots then saw this - no contest."

"The quality of the craftsmanship is superb, but the most important thing is that this guitar has such a beautiful voice - it's an absolute pleasure to play,"
