Vince Freeman Wins 'Best Male Solo Artist' and 'People's Choice' Award

Singer/songwriter/performer and dedicated Faith Jupiter player Vince Freeman took home “Best Male Solo Act,” as well as being presented with the “People’s Choice Award” by Madness legend, Chas Smash.  The INDY Music Awards took place this past Friday (25th April) evening.

Vince proclaimed, “I won!  It was an amazing feeling to be recognized for something that I love doing and have worked so hard for.  As an artist, it was one of those nights you always dream you might have one day.  The messages of support and congratulations have been overwhelming.”

Approximately 120,000 acts in total were originally submitted for consideration in cumulative categories.  For his “People’s Choice Award,” Vince received the most fan base votes out of every act in every category across the board.

Faith Guitar’s Alex Mew was overjoyed at the news, “I’m so chuffed for Vince. I hooked him up with Faith Guitars about 12 months ago, as I was blown away by his great album, and dedication to live performance. He has done us proud, playing his Faith Jupiter guitars all the way through the Indy Awards – and even better than that, actually winning everything. Long live Vince!”

Says INDY Music Awards CEO, Jeremy Glover, “The INDY Music Awards were created to highlight and celebrate the very best in emerging live music in the UK.  In Vince Freeman we have uncovered a very special talent and a popular young gentleman who is already building a significant fan base.  To pick up both the … ‘Best Male Solo Act’ and … ‘Peoples Choice Award’ is an incredible achievement.  We wish him well for the future, are honoured with our association and will be watching the undoubted progress in his musical career with some pride.”
